Nick Ahmed is a very solid college shortstop who probably played his way into a good round this year. It helps when you’ve got a pair of first-rounders on your team and a nice pipleline of young pros going in. Ahmed should join Springer, Barnes, Olt and LePage right into the minors. When you look at his scouting card, he’s got a whole lot of 5s there. Pretty good middle infield get.
