What you like about Dan Child is the body type, the arm speed, and the balance he shows. Listed at 6-4, 220, Child is tall, with high hips, large thighs and broad shoulders. He has large hands and feet and a loose arm. He has a great pitcher’s body for a right-hander. Child told me after the game he has hit 97 in the past and has worked at 92-94.
