Clint Frazier was probably the best looking pure hitting prospect any of us there scouting at Petco came away with. This was my first look at him. I know that he flashed some raw pull BP pull power. I know he can put a charge in some balls, but I’d project a gap hitter with 20-home run power. For me, in my grades, the hit grade would be above the power grade, though both grades would go above average. Above-average runner. Don’t go putting Vince Coleman on him now, but he can run. I have a clean 50 on that arm, which is a big compliment from the stringent grader that I am. Smooth, strong right-handed stroke with ability to hit the ball to all fields and strong enough to play. Ability to be very short to the ball. See you in the first round if you do this right.
