By The Baseball Beginnings Guy
April 5, 2012
Alex Wood is a guy I came across in 2011 when he was pitching a Friday night at UCLA. I liked him enough to film this video and I read that he’s going to go good enough for me to run this video. The bad news: I can’t find my scouting card. Which means area scout me has to answer to scouting director me when scouting director me asks: “What you got on this guy?” In the real world, “Duh,” gets you fired. So area guy me says to boss me, dude, chill out, he’s just another lefty. I sure hope he smoothed out some of these hiccups because he looks like a fringy 40/45 guy falling all over himself in this clip.
